Meet at the parking lot of the Edith G. Read Natural Park and Wildlife Sanctuary located at 1 Playland Pkwy, Rye, NY. As Rosh Hashanah celebrates the Creation of the World, the outdoors will be our sanctuary. Walking in the woods and meadows, we will connect with the earth, with each other, and with ourselves. This outdoor experience is perfect for all ages.
Note: given the topography, this experience is not appropriate for those with mobility issues. Please carpool as parking is limited.
*Early and late morning services are the same. Each has the same content and are 90 minutes long.

Learning Opportunites

Our congregant Marty Edelman, along with Rabbi Gropper, will host His Excellency Mohammed Al Mubarek, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Culture and Tourism Authority which includes the Louvre, the Guggenheim and the other museums and was responsible for the planning and building of the Abrahamic Family House complex that encompasses a mosque, a church and a synagogue, all centered around a Forum for gathering, learning, dialoguing and reflecting. He is also the Chairman of Aldar, the largest Abu Dhabi property development company. We will be joined by Marty’s fiance, fashion designer Norma Kamali to share why she chose the Abrahamic Family House for an upcoming special event in her life.
We will also take significant time for discussions about current issues in the region such as the Judicial overhaul bill before the Israeli Knesset and the Saudi Normalization plan with Israel

How do you make a Lulav Shake?Take 3 scoops of mint ice cream, add milk and a little crème de menthe (or leave it out), and blend. Pour into a tall class and garnish with a stalk of celery and a wedge of lemon. That’s how to make a Lulav Shake!
