CSR Tzedek Council: Transforming the World Using Jewish Values

We believe that our Jewish life and learning should lead us to a life of action, and we can't wait to include you in that journey!  From organizing monthly drives to making meals to advocating for justice, there are so many ways to be involved in social action/social justice here at CSR.

 

Tzedek Council opportunities available include:

 

• Annual High Holiday Food Drive

• Monthly drives for specific needs

• Partnership with The Sharing Shelf

• Biannual Mitzvah Days

• Annual MLK Social Action Shabbat 

• Partnership with Westchester Jewish Coalition for Immigration

• Supporting local refugee and immigrant families

• Annual refugee Shabbat with guest speakers

• Partnership with Carver Center’s Dinner at Noon

• Organizing disaster relief
