Just scratched the surface of Judaism? Have questions that are still unanswered? Topics you’re curious to explore? CSR’s Jewish Information Class (J.I.C.) is for you! It is open to anyone who wants to learn about Judaism in a supportive and inclusive environment. Whether you are Jewish and want to deepen your connection to Judaism, curious about one day adopting Judaism as your own, or being better equipped to support a Jewish partner or child, the J.I.C. is the perfect opportunity for you. No prior knowledge or background is required—just an open mind and a willingness to learn.

Over 14 engaging sessions, our knowledgeable and compassionate clergy team will lead you in a comprehensive introduction to Jewish life, thought, and tradition. Together, we’ll explore the richness of Jewish holidays, theology, and core beliefs; delve into the Hebrew Bible and other sacred texts; and will examine life cycle celebrations, Jewish history, antisemitism, Zionism, and the modern State of Israel. Join us on a journey through one of the world’s most enduring and dynamic traditions.
