Lisa Schnapper is thrilled to be joining the CSR community!

 

Lisa is a rabbinical student at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Prior to HUC-JIR, she spent two years at Hebrew College in the cantorial program, where she received a Certificate in Jewish Sacred Music. As part of her training, Lisa served as the Cantorial Intern at Temple Tiferet Shalom in Peabody, MA. For the past two years, she had the pleasure of leading High Holiday services at Congregation Sons and Daughters of Ruth on Block Island, RI.

 

Lisa lives with her husband in Larchmont, NY, where they are members of Larchmont Temple. At LT, Lisa has led the Shabbat Musical Minyan, Shabbat Summer Services, Chevrah Torah, and the Mussar small group.

 

Lisa has trained and worked as a performer, writer, and director in the performing arts. She is also a trained healing science practitioner, having received her Professional Certificate from the four-year program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing.

 

Lisa’s greatest joy is to be in community. She loves making authentic connections and can’t wait to be punim to punim—heart to heart—with all of you!
