Erev Shavuot and the Giving of Torah: An Evening of Remembrance and Learning (and Cheesecake!)

Join Rabbi Jeff Brown (of Scarsdale Synagogue) and Cantor Melanie Cooperman as we welcome Shavuot together with friends from our respective communities - and neighboring communities as well. Our evening will open with a Yizkor ritual to remember deceased loved ones. That will be followed by the obligatory Shavuot cheesecake. And we'll conclude the evening with Torah study as Rabbi Brown leads a discussion on "Jewish Mystical Readings of Matan Torah (The Giving of Torah)."
