Social Action
As a congregation that strives to fulfill the mitzvah of Tikkun Olam, we are committed to coordinating, initiating, and facilitating projects to help members of our synagogue community, local community, and Israel. In partnership with the clergy, early childhood center, religious school and professional staff and other lay leaders, we share a commitment to seek social justice through individual and communal acts of tzedakah (righteous giving) and gemilut hasadim (loving kindness). By reaching out to people in need, we not only help to repair the world, but also strengthen our Jewish identity and provide an important example of our values for our children.
