The mission of Kulanu (“All of Us”) is to create and foster an environment at CSR that is welcoming and inclusive of the LGBTQ community. We are guided by the principle that the whole congregation is enriched by inclusivity. our committee that focuses specifically on LGBTQ activities and issues within our synagogue, welcomes anyone who would like to join or provide input. CSR welcomes and encourages individuals of all gender identities and sexual orientations to become part of the fabric of our synagogue life and community. We actively work to be an inclusive, safe, and comfortable space for a diversity of individuals. We do so both because our Jewish values direct us to welcome anyone searching for such a place and because doing so makes each of us, as well as our community, stronger and healthier.
