How to Donate

Our beautiful new building is a reflection of The Kadima Capital Campaign. It enables us to embrace how members today and in the next generation will gather, pray, and learn together. Your continued generosity will help us to fund the complete project.

To donate by credit card, please click here. CSR’s policy is to add a 2.8% convenience fee for credit card payments. Would you consider increasing your gift so that 100% of your contribution goes to Kadima?

In addition to using cash or check, you have the option of making your pledge payment(s) using a credit card, monthly ACH electronic transfers or appreciated securities.

Donations can be mailed to:

Kadima Capital Campaign

Updated Call to Action December 2017

  • Our community has raised over $5 million toward our ambitious $6.2 million goal, including $300,000+ during the past few weeks alone.

  • Over 200 CSR families have donated to the Campaign, with gifts ranging from $18 to seven figures! Each and every one of these gifts is appreciated and is strengthening the fabric of our community. We are aiming for 100% participation and there is still time to be counted, especially around Chanukah and the approaching end of the calendar year, to participate.

  • Our Kadima matching campaign has been a huge success and has helped to raise nearly $500,000. We are seeking to grow our matching fund pool as we exhaust the incoming funds nearly as quickly as they are being committed. We need more matching fund gifts so that new donors know their gifts will be doubled.

  • Construction began over the summer and is steadily progressing. Our old sanctuary has been demolished to prepare for its reconstruction. We expect to be able to hold worship and life-cycle events in our new sanctuary in September 2018.

  • Our new building will include a beautiful sanctuary that allows in more daylight and accommodates more people, and improved gathering spaces.

  • As planned, and because many Kadima donors are spreading out their generous gifts over 3-5 years, we are securing a construction loan so we can complete the project quickly and efficiently.

Dear Friends:

We know that everyone is eager to hear how our plans are progressing regarding the latest update to the renovation of our sanctuary.  To that end we hope to keep you informed with timely updates as we have them.

Please see the bullet points below that summarize where we are:
  • The ECC and CJL are up and running with a smooth start due to the summer work of asbestos abatement and the completion of the second floor bathroom renovation so that our children could easily begin their school year with no interruption.
  • With Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur behind us, we are now mobilizing for the interior demolition phase of our project.  With permitting in place and preparatory work to be accomplished at week's end -- the beginning of next week will see the busy-ness of construction workers on site.  With this work comes some "banging" and noise so we want all to be aware.
  • Traffic flow and the safety of our congregants/children has been front and center and with the selection of a construction manager that has worked in local schools (Rye Country Day School), along with CSR's committed staff and clergy, we look forward to a successful project.
  • The project remains on schedule for being back in our sanctuary for the resumption of worship and life-cycle events at 200 Forest in September 2018.
  • Note the 'drawings' that give you some idea of our finished project! We look forward to being in touch as the project progresses.
With best wishes,

Laurie Frolich                            Karen Cherney-Zaltz
