Our Vision

Inspired by Jewish teachings and traditions, Community Synagogue of Rye seeks to be a center for spiritual transformation; to foster the creation of sacred relationships; and to give people the tools and resources to be God's partner in healing the world.

This vision is guided by our commitment to the Jewish values of Worship (T'filah), Life-Long Learning (Talmud Torah), Community (Kehilah), Loving Kindness (Hesed), Repairing the World (Tikkun Olam) and Love of Israel (Ahavat Yisrael).

Life-Long Learning

We encourage adults and children to share in experiences of Jewish family learning and become energize through our lively activities and discussions.

Worship

We navigate the many paths of prayer with a variety of worship opportunities, all stemming from Reform Judaism's core principles of egalitarianism and innovation.

Repairing the World
