The Center for Jewish Learning
Jewish Learning by Jewish Doing

The Rabbi Robert A. Rothman Center for Jewish Learning (CJL) seeks to engage your child in powerful Jewish learning that will ignite your child’s soul and provide a moral foundation to guide daily life.

Creative, rich, and interactive learning for our time that:
  • Nourishes your child’s mind with knowledge
  • Builds and strengthens beliefs/values
  • Provides authentic Jewish living experiences
  • Nurtures connection to self, community and God

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to Community Synagogue of Rye.

Educational Philosophy

The mission of The Rabbi Robert A. Rothman Center For Jewish Learning of Community Synagogue of Rye, is to provide an enriching Jewish education that inspires our students to engage in lifelong Jewish learning and to embrace Jewish values and traditions.

In strong partnership with the family, we strive to foster a love and respect for our people and our heritage, to make Hebrew and Torah study spiritually meaningful, to create a deep connection to Israel and to encourage acts of Tzedakah and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world.)
