COSY (Community Synagogue Youth) is a youth group based in Rye, NY, affiliated with the Reform Community Synagogue of Rye. Community Synagogue is a part of the URJ (Union of Reform Judaism), and COSY is a part of NFTY - the youth division of the URJ, the North American Federation of Temple Youth. COSY is a part of the New York Area Region division of NFTY, and we encourage members to attend NFTY events.


COSY holds monthly events that create a place for all High School Students to socialize and embrace and learn about their Jewish identity. Events include Paintball, Bowling and Laser Tag - see our calendar for details. COSY's principle goal is for members and event participants to grow as Jews and appreciate the way that religion can impact their day-to-day lives.


Participants in Community Synagogue's post-Bar-Mitzvah program are given membership at no cost, and other Jews from the area can join for a fee...see information.
