K-Kehilah- Several times throughout the course of the year, parents join their Kindergarten children for Jewish time together. Families experience Judaism through drama, music, art, food and movement. Build a child-size sukkah, make latkes from scratch, weave a basket for Purim and celebrate Israel through movement and music.
Tikkun Olam– Parents and students in grades 1 and 2 will experience Jewish Living and Learning Together, as they participate in learning experiences that are educational, spiritual and fun. The first experience of this year will be about Tikkun Olam, an important mitzvah of “repairing the world” through our Jewish values of compassion, justice and peace.
BET Program– Through the “Bible Experiences Together” program, parents of third grade students have an opportunity to study Torah in a parallel track with their children. Parents meet once per month From January to April, on Shabbat mornings from 10:30-11:30 am to learn how Torah can be a spiritual and moral guide for today’s world. Participants will learn ways to create family Torah discussion time. In addition to adult study, families will learn together 4 times during the course of the program in a fun and meaningful way.

Living Museum- Sixth grade students and parents will examine their family roots by creating a museum of family artifacts. Created by the Museum of Jewish Heritage in NYC, this experience will help families explore Jewish history and build Jewish identity. The program will begin in November with a visit to the Museum of Jewish Heritage and culminate in a Living Museum presentation in January.
